Who We Are

Jerry Bowers, Ph.D., is the General Manager of Advent Consulting Associates. His background includes human resources management and consulting for large organizations across the country.  He earned his doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of South Florida. In addition to consulting, Dr. Bowers currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Bill James, Ph.D., is a language expert for Advent Consulting and a professor of Spanish language, culture, and literature at colleges and universities in the Sacramento area. He has applied is language skills in research for California Public Health Foundation and the Center for Disease Control.  His most recent book, Dependence, Independence, and Death: Toward a Psycho-biography of Delmira Agustini has been published for international distribution.  Dr. James received his doctorate in Hispanic Studies from the University of Kentucky.
